On September 26, 2022, the Shantou Bay Submarine Tunnel Structural Safety Monitoring Project, which was implemented with the participation of Chongqing Baian Technology Co., Ltd., was completed and accepted. It was officially launched to provide real-time monitoring data, marking another breakthrough in the field of fiber optic sensing large-scale infrastructure structural safety monitoring for our company.
It is reported that the Shantou Bay subsea tunnel, which is known as the "world-class challenging project", was designed by China Railway No.6 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Railway Tunnel Bureau. It is the largest diameter cross sea shield tunnel in China. It is the first underwater shield tunnel in China that combines the functions of an urban road and a first-class highway. It is also the first super diameter subsea shield tunnel located in an 8 degree seismic fortification intensity zone in China. This project can be called the "most challenging large-diameter shield project" in China, The total length of the tunnel is 6.68 kilometers, with six lanes in both directions and a designed driving speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The length of the shield tunnel section is 3047.5 meters, while the rest are open cut sections. The tunnel project has the characteristics of "large, high, hard, shallow, and dangerous", making construction extremely difficult. On the morning of September 28, 2022, the tunnel was officially completed and opened to traffic.
Our company is responsible for monitoring the opening and closing of subsea tunnel segments. In order to ensure the progress and quality of the project, the project department has unified its thinking and carefully deployed, carefully surveyed the construction site, continuously optimized and adjusted the construction plan, strictly followed the requirements of the specifications, implemented safety and tight quality measures layer by layer, and overcame many difficulties such as heavy tasks and complex operating environments. The project successfully completed the completion acceptance on September 26, 2022, At present, the system functions normally, and real-time monitoring data is accurate, stable, and reliable. This once again proves that the fiber optic sensors and monitoring system software platform produced by Baian Technology have stable quality and reliable performance in large-scale infrastructure structural safety monitoring, providing a scientific basis for the structural safety design of the tunnel. Baian Technology's excellent product quality, professional construction team, and high-quality after-sales service have won high praise from project participants such as the owner, China Railway Sixth Design Institute, China Railway Tunnel Bureau, and Southwest Jiaotong University.
