On July 19, Feng Wenlin, Dean of the School of Electrical and Electronic engineering of Chongqing University of Technology, and Yang Xiaozhan, Professor of the School of Science visited Chongqing Bai'an Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Bai'an") for discussion and exchange. Firstly, Tan Jianping introduced the significant achievements of Baian Technology in the research and application of fiber optic sensors and demodulators since its establishment in 2004, as well as its contributions to major national scientific and technological research projects. At the same time, President Feng also gave a detailed introduction to the development process, team building, product planning, market layout, scientific research team, school enterprise cooperation, as well as successful cases of major projects that Chongqing Baian has participated in and completed in the past three years.
Then, President Feng Wenlin introduced the basic situation and historical evolution of Chongqing University of Technology. As a key construction university in Chongqing, Chongqing has a long history and cultural heritage. At the same time, the school running situation, key discipline construction, enrollment and graduate employment of the College of Electrical and Electronic engineering and the College of Science are also introduced.
Dean Feng pointed out that Chongqing Baian Technology, as a technology-based enterprise established during the epidemic, has achieved such remarkable results in just three years and has won multiple national and municipal qualifications and honors. Moreover, we have participated in and completed multiple iconic major projects, and developed multiple hardware and software products with independent intellectual property rights, which are commendable. Chongqing University of Technology has many specialties that are highly consistent with the product R&D direction of Chongqing Bai'an. It is hoped that the two sides can cooperate in many aspects, such as production, teaching and research, talent training, platform co construction, scientific research project application, student employment practice, etc.
Professor Yang Xiaozhan introduced the situation of her research team, especially in the areas of fiber optic gas sensors, photodetectors, new energy materials and equipment, LiDAR and systems. She has achieved multiple achievements and invention patents. Baian Technology also has years of research and development accumulation and market application in the field of fiber optic sensing. We hope that both schools and enterprises can cooperate closely in the transformation of achievements.
Finally, both parties reached an agreement on how to promote talent cultivation, industry university research cooperation, achievement transformation, and the application and promotion of fiber optic gas sensors in the market. Agree to sign a strategic cooperation framework agreement, establish a cooperative relationship, and promote the implementation of specific projects.
After the exchange, Dean Feng and Professor Yang also experienced the virtual simulation teaching system developed by Chongqing Baian Technology for universities, vocational colleges, energy enterprises, etc.
