On December 28th, the National Energy Administration released the industry standard NB/T11373-2023 "Technical Specification for Safety Monitoring of Offshore Wind Farm Engineering", which was led by Chongqing University, a member unit of the National Standard Working Group for Engineering Structure Monitoring, and China Electric Power Construction Group Chongqing Engineering Co., Ltd.

This standard is under the centralized management of the Science and Technology Department of the National Energy Administration, led by the team of Academician Zhou Xuhong from Chongqing University and the team of Chief Engineer Wang Song from China Electric Power Construction Group Chongqing Engineering Co., Ltd. It is also edited by multiple units and departments including China Electric Power Construction Group, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Energy Construction Group, China State Grid Corporation, Tsinghua University, and Tongji University. At present, China's onshore wind power grid connected installed capacity is steadily ranking first in the world, and wind turbines are entering a critical stage of maintenance. As a safety monitoring technical standard for onshore wind farm engineering structures, this standard will help promote the healthy and sustainable development of the wind power industry.
